Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of EasyContractor's business operations platform and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by EasyContractor ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Service Description

EasyContractor Platform

EasyContractor provides a cloud-based business operations platform designed specifically for small to mid-size contracting businesses, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general contractors.

• Customer and job management systems
• Smart scheduling and calendar functionality
• Time tracking and reporting tools
• Materials and procurement management
• Team management and role-based access controls
• Mobile-first Progressive Web Application (PWA)

Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, the Service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

User Accounts and Organizations

Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization
One organization per account; multi-tenant architecture ensures complete data separation

User Roles and Permissions

EasyContractor uses role-based access controls with four distinct user types:

Administrative Roles:

• Owner: Full system access and billing management
• Admin: User management and system configuration

Operational Roles:

• Manager: Job oversight and team coordination
• User: Field workers with time tracking access

Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Use the Service for illegal activities
• Attempt to breach security or access controls
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Upload malicious code or content
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Interfere with other users' access

You MUST:

• Use the Service only for legitimate business purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect other users and their data
• Report security vulnerabilities responsibly
• Maintain accurate account information
• Use reasonable data storage limits

Subscription and Billing

Subscription Plans

• Starter Package: $125/month including 1 Owner, 1 Admin, 1 Manager, and 5 User licenses
• Additional Licenses: Admins ($75/mo), Managers ($50/mo), Users ($25/mo per 5-user block)
• Add-ons: Integrations ($150/mo), Training & Setup ($2,500 one-time)
• Free Trial: 14-day trial with full feature access

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• License changes are prorated and take effect immediately
• Annual subscriptions receive a 15% discount
• Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date
• Late payments may result in service suspension
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Data Ownership and Security

Your Data Rights

You own your data: All customer information, job data, and business records remain your property
Data portability: You can export your data at any time in standard formats
Multi-tenant security: Complete separation between organizations with enterprise-grade security
Data retention: Active accounts retain data indefinitely; cancelled accounts retain data for 90 days

Third-Party Integrations

Integration Services

EasyContractor may integrate with third-party services including accounting systems, suppliers, and calendar applications. When you enable integrations:

• You authorize us to share relevant data with integrated services
• You remain responsible for your agreements with third-party providers
• We are not liable for third-party service availability or performance
• You can disable integrations at any time
• Data sharing is limited to what's necessary for integration functionality

Service Level and Limitations

Service Commitments

• Target 99.9% uptime for the Service
• Regular security monitoring and updates
• Customer support during business hours (8 AM - 6 PM EST)
• Advance notice of scheduled maintenance when possible
• Data backup and recovery procedures

Service Limitations

• Service is provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for business losses or consequential damages
• Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months
• Force majeure events may affect service availability
• Some features may be in beta and subject to change

Termination

Termination Rights

You may terminate:

• At any time with 30 days' notice
• Immediately for material breach by us
• Data export available for 90 days post-termination

We may terminate:

• For violation of these Terms
• For non-payment after 30 days
• With 30 days' notice for any reason

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting the updated Terms on our website with a new effective date.

Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States
• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration when possible
• Class action lawsuits are waived
• Jurisdiction for legal proceedings is in the state where EasyContractor is incorporated

Acknowledgment

By using EasyContractor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and EasyContractor regarding the use of the Service.
